Drawn to the shadow play, the lens watched as the contrasts emerged and the shapes defined. A simple scene, but somehow it captures an interesting essence. The monochromatic tones are in stark opposition to the expected color-filled exuberance of anticipated May Day flowers...should have thrown a red poppy on counter for that 'pop'! The fun part of such a photograph is allowing one's imagination to create meaning...a vital component for learning, as well. Naples, FL
