A variety of fun images taken today at Freedom Park (always manage to be fascinated with this little swamp land in the middle of town) but the reflected sky in the leaf-littered and murky swamp water pulled me in...There is a tremendous amount of activity going on in this one static image - not much is visible, but there are quick-flying dragonflies hovering in and out of the area seeking water insects, there are small spiders trying to weave webs of protection form those who see them as prey, there are small fish who dart under the shadowed plants in their schools of comrades, and there is an abundance of microscopic life underwater.

So much lies beneath the surface! It is always a delight to take a moment or two to explore that depth! Freedom Park, Naples, FL

  1. A reminder to dig deeper, look below the surface - and reflect. Nice image.
