This miniature Slinky has already been 'pulled' out of commission - they don't make 'em like they use to! Still, the connecting concentric circles have visual appeal, as well as kinesthetic and auditory interest - a multi-faceted foundation for problem-solving, too!
Problem-solving has so many dimensions and often we forget about other tools in the toolbox that can lend a possible solution. Like the Slinky, we can get caught up in the seemingly never-ending circles going 'nowhere' - but we can't blame the Slinky for taking us down that path when it does offer that beautiful feel and sound. Once again, we need to be reminded of various perspectives and 'out-of-the-box' thinking! Naples, FL
