An unusual find on the beach this morning - a squid! This poor guy was already sunbaked by the time I saw it (though I did try to save a little starfish that appeared to be stranded ashore). There were coquina shells in abundance, the usual birds (plus one a bit more rare), sanddollars, and a fine day in the making.
