New, fancy street lamps on 5th Ave S...somewhat surprised to see the expenditure, but as a tourist town there's a need to stay clean and modern! Competing for the fewer visitor dollars in the last couple of years has been tough going for those in the industry. The evidence of supply and demand is amazingly transparent these days. Diversification and continued investment seem to be key factors in contributing to a more vibrant economy...though not many can afford to do much than ''hang tight and hope for the best. 5th Ave S & 8th St, Naples, FL
