A close up of this hibiscus bloom reveals interesting veins with deeper structure and dimension than one would expect. The color reverberates from bright pink to white to deeper crimson highlighted by its golden pistil. Its condition is delicate as it is grounded by the crisp winds with little chance of surviving beyond sunset. Still it appears to cling to life with its shape - no wilting here.

Reactions to the end of life range greatly, but there is a measure of 'giving up' or 'going down with a fight' woven into most reactions. Visions of both elicit pros, as well as cons, often influenced by circumstance. There is no 'right answer'...similar to much learning where divergent thoughts are acknowledged once defended - a far cry from our standardized world. Melbourne, FL
