Marigolds always seem to attract attention with their bright bold color, but I'm always fascinated by their slight odor which supposedly helps to prevent pesky insects. Used as a companion plant, it works as a natural pesticide in vegetable gardens...and adds pretty color and texture, as well! Nature often provides the most obvious answers! Tampa, FL
