A little white penta...waiting to be planted! Though I love to garden, it is a chore in Florida with year-round requirements and pests galore. Thus, one looks for the hardy, low maintenance perennials that can stand the heat, humidity and extreme conditions. Pentas seem to fit the bill and come in a variety of colors to attract the buzzing of bees and busiest of butterflies. Hopefully, the off and on drought/flood conditions won't scare them away! Ah, summer time.... Naples, FL
