What was once swampy acreage has greened up into a lot of tall grass...but that didn't stop someone from creating their own path. This reminds me of two things: One, the age-old question, "Where do we build the new sidewalks on the campus?" with the best answer being, "Wait a few months until students create their own paths, then you can formalize them with concrete!" There's probably some additional depth of thought there, but moving on to the second reminder...blazing a trail! Entering territory with no marked trail has risks, but without trail blazers, inertia and stagnation would lead to rot and destruction. Those who take the risks are often taunted for their chosen path...and, sometimes admired for leading effective change, though that may come in retrospect. Lorenzo Walker campus, Naples, FL
