These delicate bougainvilleas were begging to be photographed as I waited at a red light. Though not native to Florida, the bougainvillea is a very prolific addition to our landscapes - still, I never grow tired of them. It's funny how we adopt certain favorites for our comfort zone - whether it be music, food, people, activity, we tend to gravitate to something familiar with perceived security.
