These solid and strong pillars provide the basic foundation for one of several sets of wooden groins built on Naples Beach to decrease beach erosion. Secondarily, they act as rest stops for a large variety of birds - suspiciously absent in this photograph!!
As a tribute to all of the fathers in the world, my hope is that you use your own power (as well as your vulnerabilities) to support and encourage your children to become who they are and to do so with kindness and optimism.
