Exposed ceilings are a popular industrial style of architecture, but we are trying it for our new career center buildings at the Lorenzo Walker Institute of Technology. The construction process has yet to be completed, but this photograph shows a potential first look! There is a definite 'nakedness' to this view - revealing usually hidden structures, assemblies, and infrastructure, but it also offers a fascinating landscape for lines, angles, shapes, and could keep some wondering how and why for many an hour! 1. I like the idea of being able to see the workings - certainly better than a false ceiling. Unless you are looking to bounce your flash!!

  2. Very nice - I like the lines juxtaposed with the rounded pipes.
