This was not meant to be the photo of the day - but I'm captivated by it for some reason...is it the unexpected shot? the vibrancy of the colors? the framing of the branches? the blur and focus? the shade and sunlight? or is it just the representation of joy and rebirth that is so often reflected in the season of spring? The colours are so vibrant - snow here is melting, but it uncovers dirt and thatch. We need some rain to start greening up the grass. I so enjoy these flowers!
