Just a random shot of the shoreline brings diversity of size, shape, color and texture - there's obvious old and relatively new, there's whole and fragments, and there's a glimpse into an unseen world beneath the gulf waters. There's new discovery every day - in our environment, our relationships, in our creations, and even within ourselves - if only we expose ourselves to the opportunities! Carpe diem - seize the day! 5th Ave N & Gulf of Mexico, Naples, FL

  1. Lovely shapes and textures - and the message so appropriate. My parents had a good friend who collected shells. They used to spend the winter in Sarasota and this friend, Nat took my son with him to look for shells. So much to learn - and in doing searching a friendship was made between the generations. Discoveries are made through sharing.

  2. @susanvg - Sharing is a great vehicle for discovery...thinking of how much has been shared and learned via this 365 project! And so much to be tapped across generations, too - many thanks for your insights!

  3. Very cool photo. I love the colors and textures. (again! Just like your compressor photo). I can almost smell the seaweed! Nice.
