Boxes of 'retro fit' equipment and accessories are ready for the first day of school. While some of the contents may have been 'state of the art' when first introduced to teachers ten years ago, technology hardware has traveled far since then. It is a dilemma, though - how do you balance the excessive cost of new technology initiatives with the need to stay current, especially when teachers are so often focused on the 'alphabet soup' of accountability measures?
