Within the center of this bromeliad is a thriving ecosystem - beauty in its own right!

A leisurely walk around the Naples Botanical Garden early morning with a photographic focus on the various features of the Florida Garden brought over 100 images, many of which are uploaded here. It is always difficult to select my favorite one for the daily posting, but the random 'dart' seems to work!

Every visit brings both familiar and new vistas to explore with the lens. Like the curiosity and behavior of a child, nature (both tended and left on its own) brings innocent surprises. The Florida Garden is no different with its fruit (guava and papaya) and vegetables (eggplant and corn), flowers and insects, wildflower masses, aerial landing pads, accidental 'matches', and unappreciated landscapes.
