Signs are all around us - most offer straight-forward information (some better than others!) - be it a warning or a service, written or nonverbal, obvious or obscure. Some we take for granted and others surprise us...but not attending to them can be detrimental. I've been noticing the signs of eroding educational institutions for some time, but they continue to be ignored by others. There are signals sent 'loud and clear' by constituents, but are the politicians listening? Granted, some signs are 'roadblocks' and others misdirect us...hopefully, we can effectively engage our thinking skills to filter through those detours. Golden Gate Pkwy & US 41E, Naples, FL

  1. Unfortunately in education the signs point backwards - politicians make decisions based on their past, not the children's future.
