Pockets of reeds and water and a singular duck in the picture - this was the scene on a brisk late December day. I was struck by the variety of reed color as I looked across the park - how had I not witnessed such change? It was like watching family members grow old - the changes happen so gradually that they aren't seen until they 'smack you in the face' and then you wonder how the change occurred so suddenly. Taking time to focus and reflect on a daily basis helps to realize the essence of such momentous transition...and that likely extrapolates to learning in a general sense as well. ;) Sugden Park, Naples, FL
