DEC172009

The lining of the palm fronds with twinkly lights is rather common during the holiday season in Florida (however unusual it may look to those in the northern climes!). Most are simplistic in nature, honoring the season's message, and shine throughout the night and early morning - a beacon, of sorts, for the wish of 'peace on earth'. Though this one is dwarfed by taller palms, it still draws the eye and hopefully brings a festive smile! Trianon Hotel, 9th St & 7th Ave S, Naples, FL

  1. It almost looks like fireworks. Lots of decorations here, too. It does chase away the darkness.
