Don't know why I'm continually drawn to phtographically capture the seagrape leaves - perhaps it is the red veins that mimic the human circulatory system, or maybe it is the round and often heart shape they take on, or even the thick, almost rubbery, texture. No matter, the seagrape is a favorite...that is, until my neighbor's tree drops its dried leaves and ripe berries on my driveway and then they are definitely a nuisance!

The pros and cons are reflective in almost (if not,) everything, but we often allow the 'halo' effect or negative connotations to influence our thinking! 4th Ave N & Gulf of Mexico, Naples, FL
