Today's "Going Global" keynote by Kim Cofino for the K12 Online Conference inspired me to think about my own youth living in Germany and Korea. Digging out some of the Korean brass pieces, I stretched to remember some of the people, places and activities of thirty plus years ago. Though this grill/cooker was designed for bulgogi (a special Korean BBQ dish), it has served only as a decorative piece. Its service today though was so much more as I considered the impact of our global community. Transferring the elements of flexibility, mobility, adaptability, the blending old and new, and 'just in time' to our learning structures will be challenging, but vital for our existence. Naples, FL

  1. Awesome! I'm so excited that my keynote prompted you to reflect back on your own overseas experience. I'm glad that the ideas resonated with you too!

  2. I like the way you photographed this and the way you tied it in with the keynote - which was inspiring.
