The varied colors and plants in this little corner of my neighbor's garden always bring a smile, but the sun's impact really made them shine this evening! Fortunately, they are are relatively care-free and heat tolerant. The bromeliad send up flower spikes that add even more interest to the plant and rather than the traditional green, there are shades of yellow, orange, and light green. There's also a little fan palm shrub and some oyster plants in the foreground. Naples, FL
