Taking photos around town this afternoon and noticed this oak tree decorated with pink ribbons to acknowledge breast cancer awareness month. Picnik is also honoring the cause with a couple of effects (one of which I used here). Considering that breast cancer is the second most common in the US (with skin cancer being #1), it is vital that awareness and education get attention and publicity. Like many, I know friends and family who have battled the invasion and like so many of our contemporary diseases, early detection can be the key to a successful experience. Here's a small remembrance to those who have suffered and a reminder to those who are susceptible - please take preventative measures! 3rd St S & 12th Ave, Naples, FL
