A sea snail once lived in this vessel - and though I only know its housing, I can imagine the organism that squirmed within the luminescent slick surface scavenging the depths of the ocean floor. Meanwhile, the rigid exterior served as a protective barrier to extend life...and create a valued artifact for some beachcomber once the residence was discarded. The visual connected to the text by engaged neurons and internet resources - a writing prompt or part of a story...or just a contribution to the 365 (oops, 366) project! :) Naples, FL
