Found the blue jays chattering about this morning - usually they are pretty flighty, too, but managed to catch this one while hunting and feeding (check out the large size to see the bee in his beak!). The photo walk also reaped an unexpected red pileated woodpecker chasing its pair up the palm tree. Surprises always abound when with the lens on a nature trail - just need to keep your mind (and eyes & ears) open! :) Freedom Park, Naples, FL

I find it fun to see birds there that are also found here. This is a great catch.
