Despite (or maybe because of) the gimmicky nature of this restaurant, Joe's Crab Shack is popular here. The food is mediocre, but the waterfront location is quite appealing....and the flashy sign (especially at night) does its job to draw you in. Once again, though, they are at the heart of a controversy regarding increased noise from music invading residential property. Just like balancing the needs of business versus personal, the fulcrum point for employees versus managment, students versus teachers, education versus learning, etc really needs close attention to both sides.
