Often referred to as the Tourist Tree (since the peeling bark resembles the unfortunate peeling skin that occurs when tourists get sunburned), the gumbo limbo tree is always quite identifiable. Its versatile uses make it quite desirable not only to the birds, but to humans, as well. The limited berries visible in this shot indicates that the birds have already had their feed and the shading leaves are on their way. Naples, FL
