Sharp thorns on this variegated succulent made it a less likely hiding place for the geocaching experience today...there were other areas of concealment. :) Following the lines of shadowed thorns lead center, but also radiate out. The variegation, blotched here and there, is uneven - but somehow patterned. Nature always seems to have a purpose and reason. Naples, FL
