Grids and rusty intersections caught my eye, especially after seeing @muffett68's grocery cart shot this morning. Funny how things stick with you sometimes...
Interestingly, my reflection goes back to Chip and Dan Heath's Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Other Die and the mnemonic device:
S implicity (basically just lines)
U nexpectedness (finding rust is not unexpected, of course, but definitely contrasts to the white)
C oncreteness (quite tangible)
C redibility (how can you not trust this sturdy looking structure?)
E motions (there's always an element of accepted, but sad realty when rust is visible)
S tories (answering "what is it?" is a start
