While geocaching, we came across this unusual lizard/gecko (which I think I've identified as a Common Five-Lined Skink through the power of the internet and search engines) slinking around a cabbage palm tree looking for dinner no doubt! An adventure such as this reminds me of how much we learn as we experience our world. The four walls of the classroom can certainly limit those experiences - how can we help students gain content knowledge and important skills within those confines?
