Beach walks uncover so many ordinary things...I love the textures and shadows in this weathered wooden groin. It has obviously met its match with the pounding of daily surf and the occasional named storms, but it is still wired tight and serving its purpose. When there is a sense of purpose doesn't a certain meaningfulness always prevail?
