The wild iris are just starting to bloom and they certainly are a colorful addition to the greens and browns of the swamp. This one remains pristine and untouched, except for the drops of dew, but they are major feeding attractions for the overpopulated (and hungry!) grasshoppers. Unfortunately, this one may not last long...but, at least the photograph will. Freedom Park, Naples, FL
