Tips of the Australian pine trees are delicate and wispy, an antithesis to their stout and very hard wood. Most often used as a windbreak, these trees are fairly common in SW Florida. Due to their salt-water tolerance, they do quite well here....too well! They are considered invasive - though some will defend their existence as nature's own. Pine Ridge & Naples Blvd, Naples, FL
