An emerging water lily is invaded by bees - a fascinating scene which occupied me for several minutes (see video). Their diligence and industrious motion was so focused...unlike my free-flowing lackadaisical celebration of Labor Day. Seth Godin's blog posting today highlights the need for drastically changing our educational system from days gone by - unlike these bees (though their labor is admired), we need to establish environments that promote innovation and creativity....difficulty to do with the emphasis on standardization and compliance.
