One of the last participants of the Swamp Buggy Parade had these chained flaming briquets which he whished around in a semi-choreagraphed way. It would have been more effective if it wasn't under the blazing sun, but good to see the innovative routine!

You captured the flames beautifully - not easy to do. It fires up my imagination. There are so many idioms with fire - it shows its importance in our culture.
