A closer look at the fallen pink tabebuia blossom reveals its fuzzy texture and the pale yellow throat. Though the bad timing of recent windy days took away the beauty of most trees, the carpet of pink remains aground. 4th Ave S & 5th St, Naples, FL

Moon setting and sun rising...what a good start to a Monday and at least today promised (and delivered) more sunshine. This seamless change from one phase of the 24-hour period to the next is not often so visible, but always anticipated. One wonders why other desired changes cannot be so easily adopted - LOL! Chance is on alert at the dog park...waiting for 'fresh meat', uhmm other canines to arrive. He's got a major alpha streak in him and think he exudes that intimidation (and maybe even terrorizing bully) as the others seemed to cower when he passes/approaches. Fortunately, he's just another dog at 'camp' and he's a just a little less than equal in the household! :) Naples Dog Park, Goodlette Rd, Naples, FL
